It seems like everyone these days is talking about “healthy weight.” Reaching this goal, for some, just means going to gym regularly, or eating less. For people who struggle with severe obesity, however, reaching a healthy weight can seem like an impossible dream. That’s why Michael Feiz, M.D., F.A.C.S founded Dr. Feiz & Associates – as one of the leading weight loss surgeons in the country, he wanted to assemble a great team of understanding and skilled people to help those struggling with obesity. Bariatric surgery has helped thousands of people lose weight and keep it off for good, and whether you want a Lap Band, or need band to sleeve revision surgery, Dr. Feiz and his team can help you.

Many patients come to Dr. Feiz with questions about their weight loss surgery options, usually Lap Band vs. sleeve gastrectomy. Indeed, Dr. Feiz is here to make sure his patients know about each of their options for weight loss procedures, including some of the older procedures such as the gastric bypass. However, the large majority of patients choose either the Lap Band or the gastric sleeve procedure because they are minimally invasive, do not rearrange the digestive system, and have worked long-term for lots of patients.

Dr. Feiz is also one of the few bariatric surgeons who is qualified to perform Lap Band revision surgery. Although many people get the Lap Band and see incredible weight loss results, in some rare cases, the Band may not be implanted correctly, which can lead to discomfort and halted weight loss. In other cases, it simply fails to produce the desired results. Dr. Feiz can correct these problems and help make sure his patients continue successfully losing weight.
